Discover Pavarotti in his home
Every inch of this house reflects the vibrant personality of its owner. Warm light fills the space, a huge window to the sky illuminates the rooms-which hold photos, paintings, and cherished letters from friends such as Frank Sinatra, Bono, and Princess Diana-while the kitchen is as yellow as the sun. Lavish costumes, unique memorabilia and countless awards pay tribute to his illustrious career-but it is the everyday objects he loved to surround himself with that reveal the man behind the scenes.
A legendary place
Maestro Pavarotti supervised the work of architects, carpenters and blacksmiths to build this villa, a tribute to Italian craftsmanship, in his hometown of Modena.
His love of horses had led him to purchase this property as early as the 1990s, where he had stables and riding stables built as a first step.
Right here, between 1991 and 2002, it hosted the prestigious CSIO show jumping tournament, in which the most important riders in the equestrian world participated.
