How to become a pilot?
The procedure to follow is actually quite simple, but obviously it all depends on the starting point. First of all, it is necessary to acquire a Csai license, which is provided by the Italian Automobile Sports Commission. If you are minor, and in particular, you are under the age of fifteen, the advice is to start with karts; then teenagers can decide whether to switch to cars – after the age of fifteen – or to go on with karts. Following a course at the Csai Federal Pilot School in Vallelunga, Lazio, those who already know how to drive have the opportunity to race on the circuit.
Knowing how to become a driver, is essential for experiencing the thrill of speed, starting from the assumption that any provincial Automobile Club is entitled to issue a license, i.e. a sports license that is equivalent to qualification to race. After attending the theoretical course, which will take place at the headquarters of the automobile club itself, you need to familiarize yourself with the rules of world motorsport, it is necessary to provide a certificate of tetanus vaccination and a certificate of fitness for competitive activity. At that point you can start racing: depending on the license you choose, you pay up to 94 euros for karts and up to 250 euros for cars.
